Here at Rolandgarros.com we know you love to get an insight into the real person behind the tennis star facade. Here, in the third of a series of quick-fire lifestyle interviews, Radek Stepanek reveals his love of music, ice hockey and football.

What is the last thing you do before you go to sleep?
Turn off the TV.

What could I listen to on your ipod?
U2, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Alphaville.

What is your favourite website?
I’m not really into the web, but I would probably say Skype, which lets me keep in touch with my family.

What is your favourite breakfast?
A Czech speciality called Vanocka with strawberry jam.

What puts you in a bad mood in the morning?
Bad news.

What’s the worst thing that could happen to you before you go on court?
I could find out I had forgotten my contact lenses.

When did you first fall in love?
At primary school. I must have been 9 or 10.

What did you first spend big with your prize money?
Like most young men, I dreamt of buying a car. Mine was a Skoda.

When did you last crack up laughing?
I’m cracking up now.

What has been your favourite film so far in 2009?
Angels and Demons.

Which actor would you choose to play you on screen?
Sean Connery.

What was the best concert you ever went to?
U2 in Tampa.

Which other sports do you like?
Ice hockey and football.

Who would be your ideal doubles partner?
Nicole Vaidisova, my girlfriend.

Who is your sporting idol?
Tiger Woods.

Which part of your game would you like to improve?
I would like to progress in all areas. If I had to choose one, I would say be more aggressive from the baseline.

Who is your favourite player on tour?
Roger Federer.

And your least favourite?
I don’t have one.
